River Poem

Here is a poem, written by Dave "3-D" Marriott, a member in good standing.  He has the most musical talent in the club, and has composed many songs about the river. I hope all paddlers on the Salt Fork get to hear his melodic voice at least once.
"The river called to me today as I crossed her , I heard her beckoning cry ,
Oh Why had I passed her, OH WHY OH WHY ???
the sirens cry,and sigh,
 still I passed her by
and now it is I who cries,
who cries , OH WHY  OH WHY"  -Dave Marriott 2011
