Trip Report, CR1850 bridge to Highlander Creek

Member David Paul, and some friends paddled the Salt Fork from CR1850 Bridge to Highlander Creek on Sunday, the 25th of March.  Water level was good, but dropping.  There was one river-wide obstruction consisting of a single fallen tree that Christie and I portaged, but our friend John squeezed under it alone in the canoe.  The current was not strong there and the water was shallow, so it was not a strainer type situation.  He had to scootch and drag to get all the way under it.   I'd guess we were out about 2 hours.  Nice section of river.
